It Is Well
It is well with my mind as I focus on His Word.
It is well with my eyes as I see His glory around me.
It is well with my body as I rest in His comforting presence.
It is well with my ears as I listen for His call.
It is well with my heart as I rely on His love.
It is well with my soul as I savor His forgiveness.
Though the world may be in turmoil,
Though problems may abound,
It is well with me, for through Christ I have been found.
This life is not easy and pain will come my way.
But when my time on earth is done, I’ll meet Jesus on that day.
“Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Your heart must not be troubled or fearful.” (John 14:27 HCSB)
PRAYER: Dear Lord, thank You for the many ways You help me every day. Thank You for the peace that comes with knowing You and being part of the body of Christ. Though there will be troubles and pain in this life, it can still be well with my soul. In Christ’s name, Amen.
