The love of God is like no other! Our Heavenly Father gave His Son to take away our sins and to provide the Way for us to spend eternity in paradise with Him.
No matter how much we love one another, the love of our Lord is many times greater. Jesus said, “No one has greater love than this, that someone would lay down his life for his friends” (John 15:13). That’s what He did for us on the cross at Calvary.
We all sin and make mistakes. We’re not perfect and those around us aren’t either. We’re not capable of the perfect love that comes from the Father and Jesus, our Savior.
Through Jesus’ death and resurrection, we have received grace when we haven’t earned it and mercy when we don’t deserve it.
We can bless others by sharing the love we’ve received and encouraging them to reach out to Jesus. His love is available to all who believe in Him.
PRAYER: Dear Lord, thank You for Your love for us. It is greater than any other love. We long to honor and serve You and to share Your story with those we meet. Please give us the courage and strength to start the conversations so we can share how Your love has made a difference in our lives. Jesus called us to “…let your light shine before men, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven” (Matthew 5:16). In Christ’s name, Amen.
