The Lord’s gifts come to all of us; each as differently as the person who is receiving them. Sometimes, they are beautiful and exciting surprises. Other times they are important lessons learned through our trials and tears.
Some were given through our family of birth and are unique talents. Still others are gained through studying the Lord’s Word and walking closely with Him, while listening and following His call to our lives.
But none is more important than the eternal life offered to all of His people who believe in the death and resurrection of His Son, our Savior, Jesus Christ.
He came as an infant and grew through the years. He taught on the earth and left an example for us to follow. No matter what troubles or trials you’re facing today, remember that the Lord loves you! He has given you many gifts and will continue to lovingly provide for you. Thank Him today for those gifts, and look for ways that you can share the gifts He has given to you with others. Share His loving truths with them.
PRAYER:
Dear Lord,
Thank You for the gifts You’ve so lovingly share with me! Thank You for Your guidance and provisions. Thank You for the life of Jesus and His sacrifice for us. Help us to steward these gifts wisely.
In Christ’s name, Amen.
