Better Together

“For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there among them.”

Matthew 18:20 HCSB

“Based on the gift each one has received, use it to serve others, as good managers of the varied grace of God.”

1 Peter 4:10 HCSB

“But if we walk in the light as He Himself is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin.”

1 John 1:7 HCSB

Living in community is an amazing blessing! Finding souls on a similar journey who are seeking knowledge and guidance on a particular path can move us forward toward our full potential.

When we find those special connections, we’ll meet others who have been where we’re heading. They’ll share insights which help us avoid pitfalls they’ve encountered. As they shine light in our direction, we’ll gain hope and courage to keep moving along on our path!

And when these friends are also believers, they will help keep us focused on the Lord.

Godly friends support and encourage each other no matter the situation. We listen and help any way we can. We each have gifts to share.

Let’s make sure to strengthen the connections we have in our lives, by encouraging each other and building each other up, just as Paul says in 1 Thessalonians 5:11. God calls us to be united with each other, just as Jesus is One with the Father.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, thank you for creating us to grow together in fellowship. You have made us all unique, yet we share many life experiences and benefit greatly when we are connected. Help us to learn and grow along our journeys.
In Christ’s name, Amen.
